Employee recruiting and retention is important for a startup to maintain a strong growth trajectory.  It is important to build a company culture.  We’ve written about that here.  Monetate VP of People Ben Russell shares his secrets for keeping employees happy and motivated.  He confirms that providing employees with free lunch and having ping pong tables and video games in the office doesn’t attract the best and the brightest employees for the long term.  In the video below, Russell explains three points Bullhorn has implemented to achieve a 97% employee retention rate.  They include:
